… when you use “I’m feeling fat” to convey that you’re feeling unattractive—or unfit, or depressed, or slovenly, or unlovable, or generally not your authentic self in some way or other—you’re implicitly saying a rather lot of nasty things about fat women. Which is unattractive in a way having nothing to do with what one looks like on her outside.

We’re still getting started…

The goal for this is to be pretty much another FUCKYEAHCHUBBYGIRS since they stopped accepting submissions ;(  Since were still so little, if you could reblog a lot of our stuff, spread the word, etc; That would be great.  To see this blog filled with submissions would be a wonderful thing and thats the goal but, it can’t happen without you!

I have an odd body. My bone structure is pretty wide-set, so if I don’t have enough meat on my bones, I look really unhealthy. Usually, I see myself as really wide and flabby and chunky, whether people say I’m thin or fat. But, honestly, I would rather have curves instead of having all of my bones stick out again. I love curves on other girls, and I’m trying to love them on myself :)

Recent event’s make me feel the need to clarify.

Personally, the term “bones” is not aimed to be an insult. It is simply an abbreviation as to being able to see them. Clearly, the heavier you are, the less bone is able to be seen. First it’s the hip bones, then the clavicles, then the rips. It was intended to be synonym for skinny, no harm was meant by the name.

One of America’s most beloved models, sex symbols, and ultimate beauties, Marilyn Monroe, was in fact very curvy.  According to today’s society though, she would be considered a plus sized woman/model.  So you know what?  If this woman right here would be a plus size model, then I’d rather have curves and be a plus size model than have bones and be considered beautiful to the rest of the world.
